It has been an incredible, wonderful and exhausting week and weekend. We watched my son play seven basketball games in two days. I also enjoyed creating a little purse that can possibly be used for holding favorite scriptures. It has a vintage look to it because I tea stained the fabric first and I used an antique earring from my husband's late Great Aunt Onie. This addition makes it very sentimental as well.
Church was special because I had one little girl student in the Kindergarten Sunday School class that I teach. I was able to give her lots of individual attention and really connect with her sweet little spirit. I was supposed to take my turn keeping the babies in the church nursery after Sunday School, but no little bundles of joy came to the nursery. The up side was that I got to talk to a friend while waiting to see if any babies were going to show up.
I then enjoyed a delicious dinner with my soul mate (husband Todd). We came home and I slid into my favorite grubbies, placed an ice bag on my foot (toe surgery 3 weeks ago) and pulled my laptop into the bed with me to finally learn how to blog. This should prove to be a lot of fun and along with a little nonsensical fun I hope to have something a little inspiring to say in order to glorify my Savior, "The Lord Jesus Christ"! He is my everything and He saved me literally from breast cancer and most importantly spiritually as well, to live with Him in Heaven one day for all eternity!
Put the joy of the Lord in whatever you do!
John 15:9 -12 "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete."
